MEET THE PRINCIPAL

Name: Chris Jesse

Family (growing up and now): My parent’s were self employed at a small TV shop in La Porte City. They closed the shop 2 years ago. I have one sister that lives in Dallas Center and is an occupational therapist.

I will have been married 19 years this November to Brian Jesse. We have one son, Gabriel. We live in the country; have a dog, and 5 cats.

Where from: I grew up in La Porte City, Iowa. My parents and my husband’s parents still live there. Three years ago, we moved back to a house not far from where my husband’s parents and brother’s live. My husband’s father farms the land on three sides of us.

Likes/interests/hobbies: My son and I share a love for animals. When I have a free moment, I like to spend time with family, sew, cook, do woodworking, crafts, and read.

What do you like about CLS? What I love about CLS are the people. This school is so blessed to have wonderful caring teachers, staff, and parents. The students are great because of all of the wonderfully positive adult influences in their lives. At CLS, students learn that it’s not just about grades or being popular, but how you live your life and treat others that really counts.
